Mom is in the hospital

She is better today. I'm hoping they will keep her in about a week to make sure she can get better plus give me some time to catch up on things I need to and want to. I don't have much time for the computer today, but hopefully in a day or 2 when I'm caught up I will.
Hope you all have a wonderful Week end!

Showing my true colors!

I took this quiz and Just had to share! :)
"How Mississippi are you?" with the result 100% Mississippi.
You're a true Southern Child, and take pride in your heritage. Being 100% Mississippi isn't a BAD thing! Heck, we got The Grove, Elvis' birthplace, and know that the fizzy liquid in your cup isn't 'pop' or 'soda' it's a darn Coke! So embrace your Mississippi-ness, ya'll!!.

Heck yea!

Sending out Congratulations to all Grads

And to a few of my own!
This year Dan's youngest brother graduates from high school. It is so had to believe!

John was just a baby when Dan and I got married. I'm so proud of him! Also, my oldest niece graduated from nursing school as a RN with her Bachelors. My uncle that just passed away a few months ago had one granddaughter to graduate high school and the other two from college. I know Uncle Buddy would be proud of them girls!
Also, yesterday we had a special program for all the high school graduates at the church. I couldn't help but to cry! Yes, I knew some of them even went to school with some of their parents, but what really got me is the reality that my Rocker Dude will be a senior next year.
So, here’s sending these Grads and your Grads and Big Congratulations!

Rain Rain go away Kitten wants to go out and play!

Spring has sprung and the garden is growing, not! We have had more rain than days in this month. Matter fact we have had more rain in the last 6months than we have ever had. We are going to have to replant the garden. All of our seeds rotted in the ground. I'm hoping the rain will slow down enough for we can replant before it's too late in the year.
I love fresh veggies, so I'm hoping we can get a brake soon. I went and bought me a few big pots to plant some tomatoes, so maybe I can at least have those. The only thing is I want have enough to can. I guess I will survive, but I rather have my own canned tomatoes than buying dice tomatoes in a can.
I think the biggest issue I have with all the rain is we can't really get outside and play! Yes, KB has had a few softball games and JB will too, but really getting out of the house during this time of year is out of the question at this time. When we are able to go outside without rain, it is so hot and humid you can’t enjoy yourself, little long breathe.
Other than weather issues we are all good here. After today, JB only has 3 more days of school and we will have all those other stupid issues behind us until next year. Even though things have settled down here, I have cut our school off even though we haven’t finished our year. In about 2 weeks, I plan to do school with KB 2 days a week through the summer then another break in July before we start back. This will give her and me 2 days a week and about 2 hours a day of our time. Rocker Dude has decided to wait till next January before he takes any college classes. I told him that would be just fine. I wasn’t trying to rush him, but didn’t want him to get bored either. This kid LOVES to learn. I can’t believe he will be a senior this coming school year! Where has the time gone?
Well, I need to go get a bath and get to mom’s.
Hope You have a wonderful day!

I have been sick! Yuck!

I woke up Saturday with a major ear ache! Lucky for me my little brother was at home with momma. The bad thing is we didn't make it to my nieces Nurse's Pinning (RN) Saturday or graduation Sunday. Even though I was sick I had a good Mother's Day. I went to the Dr Saturday, so I felt better Sunday. The other bad, is I woke up Monday with all this mess in my chest. I'm okay during the day, so I can take care of momma. Night time is when it gets rough! I don't have the money to go back to the Dr, so hopefully it will knock its self out soon. We have had so much pollen and rain I can't see where anyone could be well.
I hate to be on the run, but got to get JB to school and off to momma's I go!
Hope you have a wonderful day!!!!!!!!!

The new in?

What will they think of next? Just found out this past week that the new in at school is start a fight with someone and put it out on video. My JB and two of his friends had made a video out in the yard of them play boxing and put it on Face book. I guess some kids at school found out about it and challenged JB at school. But, their challenge was for real. JB knowing he couldn’t get into any more trouble turned these kids in to the principle. When JB got home Friday, I found that the principle had kept JB in the office during football for he wouldn't be jumped. Plus JB had told him about the video, so the principle was going to watch the video to see if JB was telling the whole truth or if the other boys were. In my eyes JB has, the more too loose than the others so I don't think he is lying. But where in the Heck did these kids come up with idea to video staged and unstaged fights for entertainment? I have no idea! I do know that my JB is sometimes easily persuaded to follow others. I do know I was the one totally against him going back to school! I do know that he has to find out a few things on his own and I can't protect him from every little thing. I also know as a parent that this year has been challenging to the utter most. JB has less than 2 weeks left in school. I sure hope this can be handled very smoothly and we get this year behind us.
But that question is still in my mind. Where in the world did these kids get in their mind to fight on video for entertainment?

Big G Little O, Let's Go, Go, Go,

I'm not a cheerleader, but I sure have been on the go!
I took both of the boys yesterday and signed them up for a Summer Youth program. They will be able to work for $7.45 an hour, 40 hours a week. (That will be nice.) I also took all three of the kids to the dentist, took KB to the DR and KB had 2 ball games. Next Friday JB has 2 ballgames in one place and KB has a game in another. Plus, KB has a game Saturday. That’s what my summer is looking like. Rocker Dude does have his license, but because he won’t be 16 till August, he still has to drive with someone over 21 till then. So, I will have to take them back and forth to work and ballgames.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining. I’m glad the kids have the opportunity to do these things. Especially the summer work program.
My oldest niece graduates from college this weekend. Today is her pinning for becoming a RN and Sunday s the regular graduation for the whole class. We have got mom a wheel chair for she can go, but she is trying to talk herself out of going. Momma has been so down and out this week and I think her going will make her feel better. I guess we will just have to wait and see what this day brings.
Well, I guess I better Go, go, go! I got to get to momma’s you know!
Hope you have a happy!

I'm still here

and all is well.I'm just a little bogged down with momma. Plus I have got to the point where I don't know much to talk about.
The little meeting my little one and I had on the 23rd seemed to go well. We don’t know the results just yet, I still feel good about the situation.
I got on face book a little bit the other day. It took me 2 hours to catch up on a year’s worth applications and messages.
I hate to admit this, but I’m a little burned out about keeping momma. I love her to death, but I need some help. I know I shouldn’t complain, and trying really hard not to. Momma has gotten to the point where if I’m not there she acts like a big baby and if I try to leave to come home she finds more for me to do or some kind of reason to keep me there.
Hopefully this will be a better week and I’ll have more time for me.
Hope all is well with you!
